Abstract This Decree, consisting of six divided into articles, regulates arts. 6-U of State Law No. 5.752 of 26 July 1993 and art. 7 of State Law No. 8.633 of 19 June 1998. It regulates the Environmental Compensation Chamber of the State of Pará (CEC) under the terms of art. 6-Q of State Law No. 5.752 of 26 July 1993. CEC establishes priorities and guidelines for the application of Environmental Compensation; evaluate and audit the methodology and procedures for calculating Environmental Compensation, according to environmental studies performed and defined percentages; discuss and evaluate the Plans for the Application of Environmental Compensation resources; supervise compliance with the Implementation Plans; propose guidelines necessary to implement land regularization of Conservation Units; and establish guidelines for the preparation and implementation of management plans for Conservation Units.
