It shall be applicable to processing facilities, organization of technological processes and production control. Putting to production of new types of tea products shall be authorized by the state sanitary supervision institution. All technological equipment and packaging materials shall be made from substances authorized for packaging of foodstuffs authorized by the Ministry of Public Health. Raw materials (tea leafs, loose tea) must comply with sanitary and hygienic safety requirements subject to state hygienic registration and certification attesting quality and safety thereof. Validation of the new types and brands of teas, putting to production and trade thereof shall be prohibited without prior hygienic evaluation of the aforesaid produce attesting safety thereof for public health.
