Entry into force notes
This Decree enters into force 18 months after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

General Technical Regulation on safety of fruit and vegetable juices establishes uniform safety requirements therefor. Agency "Uzstandard" together with the relevant ministries and departments from the date of entry into force of this General Technical Regulation shall conform their requirements and standards related to safety of fruit and vegetable juices to the provisions contained therein. The scope of this General Technical Regulation shall be to ensure quality and safety of juices produced from fruits, vegetables and berries with a view of protection of human life and health. It shall be applicable to processing, handling, transportation and storage of beverages. It shall not be applicable to export of beverages. Compliance with the established requirements and standards shall be present on the label or beverages. Each lot of fruit and vegetable juices released on the market must be accompanied by quality compliance certificate containing the following information and data: (a) name of beverage; (b) name of the manufacturer or trader, location thereof; (c) technical regulation mark certifying compliance with requirements and standards; (d) product testing results; (e) presence ingredients and food additives and information thereon; (f) manufacturing date; (g) storage conditions; (h) in case of non-compliance or expiry, terms and conditions for disposal or recycling; (i) information on certification, including date of issuance and number of quality certificate; and (f) signature of the official who issued certificate.
