This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree provides for the National Labour Council, the National Commission for the Eradication of Child Labour, the Permanent Joint Tripartite Commission, the Deliberative Council of the Worker Support Fund, the Board of Trustees of the Severance Guarantee Fund and the National Microcredit Forum. This Decree provides for the following collegiate bodies under the Ministry of Labour and Employment: the National Labour Council; the National Commission for the Eradication of Child Labour; the Permanent Joint Tripartite Commission; the Deliberative Council of the Worker Support Fund - CODEFAT, under Law No. 7.998 of 11 January 1990; the Board of Trustees of the Severance Indemnity Fund - FGTS under Law No. 8.036 of 11 May 1990; and the National Microcredit Forum, under Law No. 13.636 of 20 March 2018. The National Commission for the Eradication of Child Labour is made up of representatives of the federal government, workers and employers, subject to parity between them, and civil society, the justice system and international organizations. The National Commission for the Eradication of Child Labour is responsible for: preparing a proposal for a national plan to prevent and eradicate child labour and for the protection of adolescent workers, including its monitoring and evaluation; propose specific policies related to the eradication of child labour; propose the development of studies and research and encourage campaigns related to the eradication of child labour; monitor and evaluate the application of international conventions on child labour, and, if necessary, prepare for legislative adjustments, etc.
