This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, in view of art. 42 of Law No. 12.288 of 20 July 2010, provides for the filling by black people of a minimum percentage of positions of trust within the federal public administration. The provisions of this Decree do not apply: to the private positions of military personnel in the Army; and when specific law deals with the procedure for choosing the occupant of the position in commission or the function of trust. The bodies and entities of the federal public administration must fill a percentage of the Executive Commissioned Positions and Executive Commissioned Functions with black people of at least: 30% for levels 1 to 12; and 30% for levels 13 to 17. These minimum percentages must be reached by 31 December 2025.
