Abstract This Decree creates the Climate Change Management Committee of the State of Acre which has the following objectives: define, monitor and establish general guidelines for actions aimed at sustainable development associated with environmental services, mitigation and adaptation of climate change; articulate the actions of state institutions aimed at the planning and execution of economic and environmental policies and the promotion of forestry, agroforestry and agricultural production, linked to activities for valuing environmental services and mitigating the effects of climate change. In particular, the Committee is responsible to: define strategies for coping with climate change in relation to mitigation and adaptation actions; coordinate, supervise and define strategies for updating the state inventory of greenhouse gas emissions; define the structure of information on the provision of environmental services in the State; establish the strategy for integrating territorial organization actions, risk management and incentives linked to environmental services; monitor the technical and financial execution of programmes of the State System of Incentives to Environmental Services (SISA), etc. Full text Portuguese Website www.legis.ac.gov.br
