Abstract This Decree, composed of 23 articles and 2 Annexes, institutes the National Park of the Orango Islands, with the aim of protecting the natural resources and the ecosystem as well as promoting the sustainable development of local communities. The decree defines the borders of the protected area and rules on the zoning system established for the Park. Moreover, it regulates the admitted activities and the required licensing procedures. Finally, the Decree rules on the Park’s administration procedures and entitled bodies. The Annexes provide maps of the protected area. Full text Portuguese
