Chief Sanitary Inspector decrees to prohibit the use of potassium iodide as an iodine additive of salt from 1 June 2000. Beginning form 1 July 2000 potassium iodate must be used as additive for salt for internal trade. Iodine contents of salt must be 40±15mkg/g until use-by date.
