Abstract

This Ministerial Regulation, based on article 30 a of the Meat Inspection Act, implements provisions of EC Council Directive 92/5/EC which amends Directive 77/99/EC. The Directive lays down rules regarding public health issues in trade in meat and meat products between member states. Requirements which shall be met when producing or placing on the market of meat are laid down in article 2. Article 4 concerns the production of meat products. The remaining provisions all refer to EC provisions which they implement. (13 articles)
