Entry into force notes
This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree, consisting of 17 articles, provides for the Xingu Sub-regional Sustainable Development Plan and creates the related Management Committee. The Plan aims to promote public policies that result in the improvement of the population's quality of life and to guide federal programmes, projects and actions to be implemented in its coverage area in order to promote those that already exist. The area covered by the Xingu Sub-regional Sustainable Development Plan, in the State of Pará, comprises municipalities specified in the text. This Xingu Sub-regional Plan is part of the Regional Development Governance System referred to in Decree No. 9.810 of 30 May 2019.
