Abstract This Decree establishes that socio-hygienic monitoring shall be intended the system of data collection, processing, analysis and evaluation of information on the state of public health related to quality of human habitat. The aforesaid monitoring shall be performed constantly at the national, provincial, urban and district levels. The basic tasks of socio-hygienic monitoring shall be as follows: (a) observation of the state of health of the national population and conditions of its vital activity; (b) collection ad exchange of information; (c) identification of negative factors causing impact on human health and environment; and (d) forecast of the state of population.
