The following conservation areas are declared extinct and the respective legislation are repealed: a) Maputo Special Reserve, created by Legislative Order No. 1994 of 23 July 1960; b) Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve, created by Decree No. 42/2009 of 21 August. The human, material and financial resources placed in the Maputo Special Reserve and in the Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve are transferred to the Maputo National Park.
