This Decree enters into force after its official publication.
Abstract

This Decree establishes goals, tasks, principles and requirements for organization and performance of radioactive pollution control following Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster. It lists protective arrangements and sets forth control level. The scope of this Decree shall be to ensure radiation safety of the population, radiation control of produce and assessment of radiation levels and impact of ionizing radiation. Radioactive pollution control shall be aimed at access to complete and reliable information on radioactive pollution with a view of timely and objective evaluation of the situation.
