Abstract This Decree creates the National Committee for Trade Facilitation (CNFC), a body aimed at coordinating and monitoring trade facilitation policies. The CNFC is a multi-institutional public-private partnership of an advisory nature, with the authority to formulate recommendations in the context of the development of international trade/exchanges and all of its logistics. The CNFC has the necessary duration for the implementation and monitoring of the trade facilitation measures required in several trade agreements in which the country is engaged, for monitoring the reform and implementation of commercial policies scheduled by the Government. The CNFC aims to: a) Facilitate national coordination for the implementation of trade facilitation reforms and measures; b) Function as a platform for coordination, simplification and harmonization of procedures related to international trade; c) Create a space for exchange and dialogue between all public and private institutions involved in international trade.
