Abstract

Pursuant to article 54(3) of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, by virtue of this Decree Italy takes emergency measures as regards the cultivation of genetically modified variety of maize MON 810. The objective is to protect agricultural biodiversity.
