This Decree-Law enters into force on the day of its publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law aims at authorizing the Government to create Free Trade Zones in any part of the National Territory, with industrial, commercial and service purpose. The establishment of free trade zones in the country, with the economic and financial specificities that characterize them, constitutes an important factor of economic development, not only for the geographical areas adjacent to those in which they are located, but also for the entire National Territory.
