Abstract

This Decree-Law, consisting of 22 articles and one Annex, implements in the National territory EU Regulation No. 1005/2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer specifying production, import, export, marketing, use, recovery, recycling, reclamation and destruction of substances that may damage the ozone layer, as well as reporting on these substances and to import, export, placing on the market and use of products and equipment containing the critical uses of halons. It applies to controlled substances and new substances, respectively specified in Annexes I and II of the EU Regulation, including its isomers, alone or in mixture, virgin, recovered, recycled or reclaimed, as well as products and equipment containing or relying on that.
