Abstract This Decree-Law provides for the protection of the atmosphere through measures controlling substances damaging the ozone layer and against air pollution. It consists of 15 articles regulating production, import and export of such substances in order to protect human health and the environment. Articles 6 and 7 provide for import/export licensing and articles 10 and 11 establish offences and penalties for illegal activity.
