This Decree-Law enters into force on the day of is publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law, composed of 36 articles divided in 6 Chapters, rules on the legal status over quarries exploitation and licensing. In particular, the Decree regulates the licensing procedures and licence concessions. Moreover, it provides standards and requirements for the management of quarries, including safety provisions. Finally, it rules on the necessary requirements for granting environmental quality and landscape preservation.
