Abstract This Decree approves the Statute of the Institution for Urban Land Planning of Luanda (IPGUL). This Statute, consisting of 5 Chapters and 1 Annex, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned governmental institution, entitled to: coordinate the designing process in general of the Territorial Land Use Planning (POT) within the Province of Luanda and its municipalities, in particular for rural and urban planning, according to the enforcing legislation on this topic established by Law No. 3/04; guaranteeing, in general the sustainable development of the socio-economic activities.
