This Decree-Law enters into force immediately.
Abstract

This Decree-Law, consisting of 9 articles, establishes the organization of the Exclusive Economic Zone in blocks for oil exploitation. It does not apply for oil operations carried out on land and on the territorial sea of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome e Principe. This Decree-Law divides the EEZ in exploitation areas and oil blocks strictly delimited by geographical coordinates, in order to carry out research on seismology and hydrocarbons potentiality of these areas.
