The owners of registered vessel authorized to protected fish species or under the quota restrictions must inform yearly the competent authority proving trading link with Portugal. It does not apply for vessel not exceeding 15 metres. At least 50 % of fish caught must be landed in portuguese harbours (and locally sold), at least 50% of crew must live in Portuguese Coasts, at least 50% of fishing trip must start from a Portuguese harbour.
