Abstract This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 9/2002 defining the responsibilities of the Competent Authority for general inspection, sanitary control and certification of fishery products. It establishes that the Competent Authority for Fisheries Products (ACOPESCA) is now the Competent Authority responsible for ensuring and monitoring the implementation of the provisions of this Decree-Law, on behalf of the General Directorate of Fisheries.
