Enters into force with the publication of the two Orders mentioned in articles 6 and 14. The latter enter into force from the publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes a new regime for the approval of the magnetic compasses to be used on board of national vessels. It consists of 4 chapters (concerning the importance of the magnetic compass on national vessels) and 1 annex (concerning the Certificate of Magnetic Compass Adjustment, according to the corresponding table(s) of residual deviation). The present Decree-Law does not apply to recreational, war, ministerial and safety vessels.
