Abstract This Decree-Law establishes treated water use for irrigation purposes originating from urban or other types of water discharge. It consists of 13 articles specifying the requirements to be met for using purified water. It establishes periodical controls to be carried out on this purified water (maximum residue limit in water of metals, or other polluting agents) in order to guarantee water quality and to authorize the use of this treated water.
