Abstract

The Decree-Law establishes supplementary sanitary measures to be applied in feedstuff production and use in order to prevent and avoid bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). It consists of 12 articles and 1 Annex prohibiting the use of proteins and fats obtained from mammal tissue. Annex specifies the standards to be met by authorized fats to be used in feedstuff.
