Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes plant protection measures in order to avoid the dissemination of harmful agents by plants originating from third countries. It consists of 38 articles defining plant to be protected and prescribing controls to be carried out by competent service (CNPPA National Centre for Agricultural Production). This Decree-Law establishes protective measures and plant importation requirements in order to avoid the dissemination of harmful agents in national territory. It lays down the requirements to be satisfied for obtaining sanitary certificate and necessary information to be attached.
