Abstract

This Decree-Law approves the Regulation on fishing activity within the transboundary Minho River (between Portugal and Spain). It consists of 9 chapters and 1 annex regulating fishing sector in the abovementioned river as follows: Defining of fishing actvity (chap. 1); Fishing gear and methods (chap. 2); Season and minimum size by species (chap. 3); authorized fishing nets (chap. 4); Turns (chap. 5); Fishing facilities (chap. 6); River police (chap. 7); Sanctions (chap. 8); Final provisions (chap. 9). Annex specifies authorized fishing gear (including net requirements) to be used within the abovementioned river.
