Abstract

This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 142/2006 and Decree-Law No. 214/2008 on the National Animal Information System Registry (SNIRA) and the exercise of Livestock Activity (REAP). Amendments deal with veterinary and registration requirements to be met for livestock production, slaughtering and create the Commission for Authorizing Livestock Activities (CALAP). Amendments to Annexes III and IV of the above mentioned Decree-Law deal with the formal requirements for applying for a livestock facilities approval and activity authorization.
