The following activities shall apply to fishing cooperatives: a) the catching, fishing, harvesting, preserving, processing, landing, transport, charge of alive fishery products and other living resources of the sea, including seabed and areas under maritime jurisdiction; b) the extraction, treatment and use of sea salt. In addition, it defines the use of the cooperative form for obtaining an authorization and other formalities required by law, and the entities to which said authorizations and licenses depend on the specific nature and social function of cooperatives.
