Abstract

This Decree-Law creates and approves the Statute of the Centre for Renewable Energy and Industrial Maintenance, Public Business Entity (CERMI, EPE). The Statute (in the Annex), consisting of 8 Chapters, establishes that the "Centre" is a corporate public entity with administrative and financial autonomy. The CERMI, EPE's main objective is to promote the diffusion of knowledge and the development of skills to undertake activities in the field of renewable energy and industrial maintenance, including: promote and provide training and capacity building on scientific, technical, human and cultural development; arrange studies and research in areas of renewable energy and industrial maintenance; develop training activities to support the capacity building of technicians in the areas of renewable energy and industrial maintenance, etc.
