Abstract

This Decree-Law aims to: a) approve the general regime for granting national financial support to the agricultural and livestock sector and to the fisheries and aquaculture sector; and b) extends the validity of the extraordinary professional diesel mechanism, provided for in Decree-Law No. 43-A/2022 of 6 July for eligible supplies that take place between 1 January and 30 June 2023. The granting of any financial support to the agricultural or livestock sectors or to the fisheries and aquaculture sectors, which is subject to the «de minimis» regime or to the general or extraordinary and temporary regime of State aid, may be instituted and regulated by order of the members of the Government responsible for the areas of finance and agriculture and fisheries, after consulting the self-government bodies of the Autonomous Regions, when applicable. Any natural or legal person with activity in the agricultural or livestock sector, or in the fisheries and aquaculture sector, who meet the access, eligibility and selection criteria defined for each support may be beneficiaries of support granted under this regime.
