Abstract This Decree-Law, composed of 23 articles and 3 Annexes, regulates the commercialization of salted codfish, green cod, dry or semi dry cod and other similar salted species. In particular, it provides a classification of the fish species, the health and safety requirements for its storage, transport, packaging and sail. Moreover, it rules on the accepted quantities of salt and humidity rates. Finally, it provides inspection measures and, to this end, indicates the competent authorities. Full text Portuguese
