Abstract

The amended articles establish the obligation for all national or foreign vessels to be registered in the Department of Fishing Development (SUDEPE) and an annual fee to be paid, according to the type of fishing vessel. Fishing industries are under the same obligation regime. It also establishes the maximum quantity of mariculture products (including ornamental fish) to be exploited per year and the requirements to be satisfied for obtaining a fishing licence.
