This Decree-Law enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law amends Decree-Law No. 202/2004 establishing the legal regime for the conservation, promotion and exploitation of hunting resources, with a view to their sustainable management, as well as the principles regulating hunting activity. Amendments deal with several articles and provisions establishing the following aspects: definitions; general conditions for accessing to and pursuit of hunting in ZCN and ZCM, in particular criteria for admission of applications and allocation of hunting days; application procedures; minimum length of enrollment periods and other rules of operation; hunting markings; payment of fees whose value is fixed by order the Government responsible for the area of forests; requirements for a new hunting exploration plan (POEC); number of dogs to be used by each hunter or group of hunters defined by the competent entity holding the hunting zone, taking into account the existing populations and their sustainability; etc.
