Abstract This Decree-Law establishes the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. It consists of 13 articles and 5 annexes specifying that the objectives of this Decree-Law are to reduce and avoid the freshwater pollution caused by the said fertilizers.
