This Decree-Law enters into force 30 days after its publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes sanctions and fines to be paid for marine water pollution in order to protect sea biodiversity. It consists of 24 articles specifying all the fines according to the different illegal activity (including fishing vessels pollution) to be paid to the competent authority in compliance with the international agreements on environment.
