Abstract This Decree-Law, composed of 21 articles, prohibits sand extraction from beaches, dunes, inland waters, coastal waters, and territorial sea (up to 10 meters depth). The Decree-Law forbids as well sand exploitation and transport. In particular, the Decree-Law regulates the licence regime and applicable sanctions and penalties.
