Abstract This Decree-Law, composed of 25 articles and seven Annexes, regulates the licensing system of bovine production. In particular, it provides a classification of exploration activities, and rules on legal procedures necessary for licensing purposes. To this end, the Decree details the typologies of licences for bovine production and the related issuing requirements. Finally, the Decree-Law rules on control and monitoring procedures. The Annexes provide, among others, technical requirements for granting animal hyhiene and public health.
