Abstract This Decree-Law apprves the Regulation on inspections to be carried out on foreign fishing vessels (RINE), establishing the procedures to be applied by the General Direction of Harbours, Navigation and Maritime Transports (approving the EC Council Directive No. 95/21 of 19 June). The Regulation consists of 27 articles and 11 Annexes establishing the procedures to be applied by national competent authorities in order to carry out inspections on foreign fishing vessels (performing their activity through national harbours) and to improve safety conditions on board.
