The aim is to grant proper control measures for zoonoses, zoonotic agents and any related antimicrobial resistances, as well as an adequate epidemiological investigation of food-borne outbreaks. Annex 1 provides a list of zoonoses and zoonotic agents to be controlled; Annex II indicates the requirements for controlling antimicrobial resistance.
