This Decree-Law enters into force on the date of publication.
Abstract

This Decree-Law defines competencies of the authority entitled for carrying out sanitary controls on fish products. It consists of 14 articles dealing with hygiene measures to be applied on the aforementioned products for human consumption. It also concerns exportation requirements, inspection, competent authority entitled for carrying out controls (including controls on treatment infrastructures, fish transport, processing) licence taxes, sanctions to be paid by offenders, etc.
