Abstract This Decree-Law regulates use and trade of raw materials for animal feedstuffs according to EC Council Directives No. 96/25 of 29 April and No. 98/67 of 7 September. It consists of 14 articles and 1 annex regulating animal feed marketing and specifying the requirements to be met for placing on the market raw materials for preparing animal feed, including authorized additives, maximum residue limits of pesticides, maximum limits of unsafe ingredients, etc. in order to guarantee animal and human health. Sanitary control and fines to be paid are specified in the text. Annex lists authorized raw materials.
