Abstract

This Decree-Law is divided into 10 articles and regulates methods of crop protection with a view to achieving adequate protection against chemical substances as well as an integrated system of protection and production (art. 1). Adequate agricultural production can be achieved by using phytofarmaceutic products and by informing farmers on efficient pesticides (art. 2). Integrated protection of crops (PI) shall contribute to a balanced ecosystem through a natural limitation of harmful organisms as well as other measures (art. 3). Article 4 deals with integrated production. Articles 6, 7, and 8 deal with the recognition that farmer's organizations may obtain if they exercise integrated protection and production of crops.
