Abstract

This Decree-Law is divided into 13 articles and establishes that the application and execution of the Program for the eradication and control on African swine pest (PEVPSA) shall be under the competence of: the Institute of Protection for Agricultural Products (IPPAA); Agricultural Regional Directions (DRA); the Institute for Financing and Assistance to Agriculture and Fisheries (IFADAP). It also establishes the competencies of national co-ordinators and regional officers; and creates a Consultance Committee (art. 1). Articles 2-6 set out competencies for each institution mentioned in article 1. Articles 8-11 prescribe offences and penalties.
