The agricultural insurance system SSA covers: a) crops, animals and plants; b) vineyard; c) fruit and vegetable crops under European agricultural funds. The mentioned support relates to the agricultural insurance premiums covering economic losses caused to farmers by adverse climatic phenomena, animal or plant diseases, pests or environmental accidents, which meet previously established criteria.
