Abstract This Decree-Law, consisting of 4 Chapters and 8 Annexes, establishes the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related products. It transposes into National Legislation the European Parliament and Council Directive No. 2009/125/EC of the of 21 October, establishing the requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain the ecological certification for energy products. The aim is to increase energy efficiency while ensuring at the same time a high level of environmental protection.
