Abstract

This Decree-Law creates the Multimunicipal Water Supply System of 'Alto Zêzere e Côa'. It consists of 12 articles approving the Statutes of the water institution 'Aguas do Zêzere e Côa, S. A' (divided in 5 chapters) entitled to collect, treat and supply water for public use (including water for human consumption) and carry out water disposal programme in order to avoid water pollution within the following districts: Almeida, Belmonte, Covilhã, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Fundão, Guarda, Manteigas, Meda, Penamacor, Pinhel and Sabugal.
