Abstract

This Decree-Law establishes the second amendment to Decree-Law No. 18/2012 on the conditional support allowance «Bolsa da Mãe» and repeals Decree-Law No. 22/2021 creating pregnancy and child benefits, known as «Bolsa da Mãe-Nova Geração» subsidies. Articles 10 and 41 of Decree-Law No. 18/2012 of 4 April, amended by Decree-Law No. 22/2021 of 10 November, now read as follows: The value of the monthly subsidies to be awarded are: a) US$8 for each child studying in the first cycle; b) US$9 for each child studying in the second cycle; c) US$10 for each child studying in the third cycle. Children with disabilities who attend school are entitled to additional fees of US$5.
