It regulates the Vinho Verde designation Region (“Região Demarcada dos Vinhos Verdes”). In particular, the Decree-Law provides the borders of the area, classifies the grapes and soils, regulates protected designations as well as storage, transport, packaging and labelling requirements. The Annexes provide a map of the delimited area, and the list of authorized designations and varieties.
